• This award has been instituted in the year 2011 by the Organizing Committee of 7th APBC and 17th NABICON held from 18th-20th Jan 2009 at New Delhi.


• Any NABI member can suggest the name of a distinguished burn surgeon to the nominating committee for the award of the Professorship.


• The nominations should be sent to The Head, Dept. of Burns & Plastic Surgery, Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi-110002. The decision of the nominating committee shall be final.


• The visiting Professor shall be invited by the Chairman of the selection committee and shall be required to deliver "Lok Nayak Hospital visiting Professorship Oration" during the NABICON.
