The 24th Annual conference of NABI –NABICON 2016 was held from 19 th to 21 st February at Puri , Odisha. The theme of the conference being “ Care , Comfort and Empower 'was given special attention as the organisers took special care of all the delegates and faculty and ensured everyone's comfort and empowered the conference with a very exhaustive scientific session rich in both content and variety.

The scientific session was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Health Minister of state Shri Sabyasachi Nayak and Hon'ble Minister of Industries , school and mass education , Shri Debi Prasad Mishra presided over as chief guest at the inaugural ceremony .It was indeed a religious feast for everyone as almost all delegates visited the Lord Jaganath temple in Puri and the famous Sun Temple at Konark.

There was a pre-conference CME and operative workshop in the SCB Medical College, Cuttack for postgraduate students ,nurses , physiotherapists who keenly participated in it . The main conference was at Hotel Holiday Resort , Puri , with an extensive scientific programme covering all topics ranging from basics to advanced burn care . The meeting was attended by over 500 delegates , the largest gathering ever in national burn conference.

There were master classes organized early morning for the first time in NABICON and they were well attended .

The executive body meeting and General Body meeting were held as scheduled . All in All the conference was a huge success
